In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. UP-173 dated September 19, 2025 “On the Conduct of the Population and Agricultural Census in the Republic of Uzbekistan”, a nationwide population and agricultural census is currently being carried out across the country.

The census period runs from January 15 to February 28, 2026, with data collected as of January 15, 2026. The process is organized in two stages:

•             From January 15 to January 31, 2026 — citizens have the opportunity to register independently online through the official portal census.stat.uz using the OneID identification system (for themselves and family members);

•             From February 4 to February 28, 2026 — door-to-door registration will be conducted by authorized representatives using electronic tablets.

Participation in the population census is an important civic contribution that enables the state to obtain reliable, up-to-date information on the composition, distribution and socio-economic characteristics of the population. The results of the census will serve as a basis for planning and implementing effective state programs in the spheres of social protection, education, healthcare, employment, infrastructure development and other key areas of national development.

We recommend using the convenient online registration option during the first stage (on January 30 and 31), which significantly simplifies the process and saves time.
